Wolfgang Seidenberg studied acting at the Max-Reinhardt-Seminar in Vienna. The disciple contract at the Burgtheater Vienna was followed by engagements among others at the Schauspielhaus, the Comedy and the Renaissance Theatre in Vienna. He was a member of the company of the Festspiele Bad Hersfeld under the directorship of Peter Lotschak for 12 years (e.g. as “Everyman” and “Tartuffe”) and could be seen in various roles on tour („Richard III.“, „Much Ado About Nothing “, „The Nibelungen“).

He is known to the TV audience as “Frank Töppers” of the ARD series “Marienhof”, but also played several roles in other TV productions and cinema movies, e.g. with the directors Edgar Reitz (Die Zweite Heimat), Steven Spielberg (Schindler’s List), Dagmar Damek and Gernot Roll.

He played the Flottwell in Jérôme Savary’s production of „The prodigal“ At the Landestheater Niederösterreich, the Father Flynn in „Doubt“ and the Zampano in „La strada“ at the Altes Schauspielhaus Stuttgart. At the Theaterhaus Stuttgart he plays in „ The Legend of the Holy Drinker“ since 2010 under the direction of Silvia Armbruster. He also acted in the success play „Frau Müller muss weg“ by Lutz Hübner.

He already worked with Roland Reber and the wtp team several times: in 2007 for MY DREAM OR LONELINESS NEVER WALKS ALONE, in which he took on the role of the man, in 2013 for ILLUSION (role: Theodore) and 2017 for TASTE OF LIFE (role: Ludger)
