Marina Anna Eich was born 1976 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After high school, she studied Spanish, English and French in Ecuador, Canada and France. She studied Dance at the Dance Academy at the Opera Leipzig and at the University of Music and performing Arts in Frankfurt/Main. As an actor and dancer she performed in several film- and television productions, for example as ‘Eva Braun’ in a documentary movie for the Japanese television.
From 2000 – 2022 she was a part of the team of wtp and worked for the film company as an actor, producer and was responsible for the PR, sales and distribution. and as a product manager for the DVD label. She also took care of the DVD / BD / online sales, specializing in feature films and documentaries in the arthouse sector.
In 2002 she was awarded the BEST FEMALE ACTOR AWARD during the Night of Bavarian Shorts (on the occasion of the AFM American Film Market Los Angeles/USA) for her acting performance in the short film Call it love. Marina Anna Eich was a member of jury at several festivals.
She co-produced among others the satire Roland Rebers Cabaret of Death (2019), the dramedy Taste of Life (2017), the drama Illusion (2013), Psychodrama The truth of lie (2011), the erotic-drama Angels with dirty wings (2009), the dramedy Loneliness never walks alone (2007), the erotic-drama 24/7 The Passion of Life (2005) and the comedy Pentamagica (2002/2003). In all films she performs different characters, mostly main roles.
Since 2007 she participates regularly in national and international film festival jurys.
Since 2022, Marina Anna Eich is working in the organization of the Spanish film festival CURTAS Festival do Imaxinario, Villagarcia de Arousa. In 2023 she married Luis Rosales, the organizer of the CURTAS Festival and now lives in Spain. In 2023, she founded her own distribution company, MARILU PICTURES, which distributes independent films to Spain and Germany.
