Antje Nikola Mönning, apart from being actress and assistant to director, also is a music composer and singer-songwriter.

Since 2007 she is a fix member of wtp international.

For the movie ILLUSION (2013), in which she also performs the main actress Nikola, she composed the score for the first time, followed by the score for TASTE OF LIFE (2017).

about the music in ILLUSION:

„I liked composing my own music ever since I started playing the classic guitar at the age of 6. When it became clear, that we wanted Claire to sing in the movie, I thought about which kind of music would fit her nice chanson voice best. Mostly the ideas for melodies and lyrics came while I was motorbike riding. Then it was an interaction between Mira and me: she told me what kind of music she imagined for particular pictures or scenes and I tried to realize it, or I got an idea (like the choral “Oramuste”) which then led to certain images.“ (Antje Nikola Mönning)

Since december 2018 the score of ILLUSION and TASTE OF LIFE is availble on platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer, Napster, Google Play etc. Antje Nikola Mönnings pseudonym as composer is SCHWESTER ANTJE (sister Antje). Her music album AUSGEZOGEN (undressed) is published there as well promptly to the medial distribution of the music clip (nun rap) NONNEN – RÄP – Musikclips.
