Martin Bayer, born in Munich, found his way into acting when he had several engagements at the Bavarian television (“Die Löwengrube”, “Tatort”). He gives numerous performances in supporting roles and movement choruses at the State Theatre at Gärtnerplatz and the Residenztheater in Munich, the Bavarian State Opera and the Salzburg Festival.
He demonstrates his dancing abilities in “The Fall of the House of Usher” in the Residenztheater as well as in “Lulu” and “Il Turco in Italia” in the ballet of the Bavarian State Opera.
As an actor he can be seen in “The White Horse Inn” (“Das Weiße Rössl”) and “The man in the moon” (“Der Mann im Mond”) at the Gärtnerplatz and as Baron of Attinghausen at the Isny Opera Festival, furthermore in episode roles at “Hubert und Staller” and “Rosenheim Cops” and in cinema in “Asterix” and “24/7 – The Passion of Life”.
As a singer he performed at the SpielArt festival and the Biennale in Munich (“We”) as well as being a regular street ballad singer at fairs and festivities.
ROLAND REBERS CABARET OF DEATH (role: DJ LOL) was the second work together with Roland Reber and the team of wtp. His first work was 24/7 THE PASSION OF LIFE.
