Psycho Thriller

Synopsis

Sophie (Mira Gittner), a student of Egyptology, and Christoph (Marcus Gruesser), an unemployed actor, apply to a classified ad in the newspaper for a job:
„ Someone to look after my house for six weeks – good payment“. It’s a box number ad and both get the job – with one not knowing of the other. They enter the house and meet each other.
First Sophie doesn’t want to stay six weeks in a house with an unknown man, but after the post woman brought two registered letters with advance payment and the rules, they decide to try it - both of them need the money. The rules say that they can do what ever they want in the house except one thing: there exists one locked room which they are not allowed to enter.
They barely agree to this arrangement when strange things begin to occur. More and more they project their hidden thoughts in this locked room. Between dream and reality, they develop a labyrinth of emotions…
Sophie and Christoph are looking after a house with a locked room where everything - or nothing – can be concealed from others.

Christoph: “ All houses have a forbidden room,
whether it is locked or not.”
Sophie: “Just like our soul.”

This short dialogue outlines the film.
The heart of the story is not the mysterious incidents in the house
but the hidden feelings of the occupants.
